COMPETITIVE SWIMMERS

Competitive swimmers are focused towards specific, performance-related goals. Our coaches will help you improve your endurance, technique and mental focus using the Endless Pool. You will make your stroke more efficient, gaining speed and power and becoming the streamlined fishlike underwater powerhouse you need to be, whether for pool or open-water swimming.

 

PHOBIC SWIMMERS

For some people, the water is an environment of fear, making swimming difficult to impossible. But, you don't have to be afraid of the water anymore! Utilizing our state of the art Endless Pool, our coaches will help you understand your reactions to the water and its influence on your ability to swim, all while learning in a swimming environment which feels more safe and secure than a traditional pool. Learning basic relaxation techniques, you will learn how to breathe naturally in an aquatic environment. Leading you each step of the way, our drills will lead to an efficient and enjoyable swimming experience, where you feel safe and secure in the water.

 

PREGNANT WOMEN

Pregnancy is an excellent time to embrace swimming as an exercise. Using the Endless pool's controlled current and temperature, our coaches will provide a safe environment for a low-impact exercise, all in an environment of weightlessness, allowing relief on joints and muscles. Especially during pregnancy, some benefits of swimming include: strengthening of chest and back muscles, which tend to built up most tension in pregnant women and aiding in circulation of blood and oxygen to you and your baby. Range of motion, stretching and flexibility are also enhanced in the water, providing increased muscle tone, mobility and stress relief.

 

 

Doctors have recommended swimming through all nine months, up until the day of pregnancy and with a return back into the water in as little as two weeks after birth. No other exercise is endorsed as highly swimming is, proving to be one of the best exercises leading towards a healthy pregnancy as well as a quick and easy recovery for both mom and baby. Of course, please consult your physician before beginning any exercise program, especially during pregnancy.

 


RECREATIONAL SWIMMERS

You don't have to be a serious competitive swimming to enjoy the benefits swimming has to offer! Let us show you how to make your stroke more efficient while you enjoy interesting and fun workouts to help meet your personal fitness goals. You will understand your body better in safe and fun aquatic environment. Swimming as an exercise is probably the best way to keep yourself young, healthy and in shape.
