EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Sales Associates:

Do you have sales experience? Do you have knowledge of cycling and triathlon gear? We are currently seeking full and part time sales associates. If you have any knowledge of or experience in triathlon, swimming, running or cycling, then please send us your resume! Sales experience is required and highly recommended. (Please do not send your resume if you don’t have the required experience.) We’d prefer if you are enthusiastic about your job, and are especially good with communicating with our customers, because they are enthusiastic about their sport. We are looking for sales associates who can work at least one day during the weekend and who have a flexible schedule.

SBR MultiSports was the very first triathlon and multisports store to open in Manhattan . In addition to a wide range of products and services, we feature an in-store pool. Here is your opportunity to be part of our sales team! Opportunities for growth and advancement may become available.

Job Description:

The sales associate works with customers to find and sell products that best fit the customer’s needs, while promoting multisports such as cycling, running and swimming. The sales associate will also stock the floor, assist in inventory reports, cleaning and other duties required to keep the sales floor beautiful and the products tangible and available.

Job Requirements / Skills:

Customer Service experience and/or retail sales experience. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, cheerful and positive attitude, teamwork, hard worker, independent worker and motivated. Knowledge of triathlon products and services is not required but is a bonus. Desire and passion for cycling, running or swimming is preferred.

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience. Beginning wage may range from $10-$14/hr. Other benefits you can enjoy: using our endless pool, generous discounts on all products we carry, easy access to Central Park for training, working with other staff who share your interests.

Stock Clerk:

We are currently looking for a stock associate who will assist our sales staff in the day-to-day operations of our shop. The stock clerk is NOT a sales associate, but will be very active on our sales floor in the following functions:

Job Description:

Restock inventory hourly
Clean sales floor and displays, shelves, floor, stock room, etc
Assist in transferring inventory in/out of shop to warehouse
Assist with cashier duties if necessary
Inventory: counting and reconciling inventory
also stock the floor, assist in inventory reports, cleaning and other duties required to keep the sales floor beautiful and the products tangible and available.
Job Requirements / Skills:
Detail oriented
Independent worker
Not easily distracted
Out of the box thinker
Punctual and responsible
Works well with a team
Teachable and eager to learn
Must have experience in stock room operations
Desire and passion for cycling, running or swimming is a bonus but not required. We are looking for a stock clerk who can work at least one day during the weekend and who has a flexible schedule.
